An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and experienced **Clinical Neuropsychologist** to join the Community Brain Disorders Assessment and Treatment Service (CBDATS). This is a fixed term maternity leave position.
This role would suit a neuropsychologist who has an interest in working with clients who have significant cognitive and behavioural difficulties following an ABI and a mental illness The position offers a unique opportunity to utilise your specialist assessment and consultation skills, networking with stakeholders, families and carers and participate in quality improvement activities.
Essential for Performance in the Position
- Registration with AHPRA as a psychologist with specialist endorement in Clnical Neuropsychology.
- Hold a Master degree in Clinical Neuropsychology with a minimum of 2 years professional experiences
- Relevant clinical experience in the management of adult psychiatry and ABI clients.
- Demonstrated experience with neurobehavioural interventions
- Ability to plan and develop, specific educational material and programs as outlined in the position objective.
- Sound knowledge of the new Mental Health Act (2014) legislation.
- Proven ability to work both autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
