* Salary: ASO2 $30.01 – $32.28 per hour + 25% casual loading
* Casual role working over a 7‐day roster until 3 March 2027

What we're offering

The Receptionist and Administration Officer role delivers a high-quality, confidential, and customer-focused administrative service within the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. You will provide reception services, support patient admissions and discharges, manage medical records administration, and contribute to effective communication systems within the Health Service.

This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate records, supporting administrative processes, and contributing to a teamwork approach that promotes continuous improvement, safety, and compliance with organisational and records management standards.

How you will contribute

* Provide a courteous and efficient reception and customer contact service to patients, visitors, staff, and the general public.
* Deliver effective admissions, discharge, and medical records administration services.
* Maintain accurate electronic and hardcopy records, including data entry and patient information reporting.
* Provide word processing, clerical, and administrative support to the Health Service.
* Contribute to quality improvement, safe work practices, and compliance with records management standards.
