Zanthe is seeking a reliable and motivated Farm Hand / Operator to join our sweet potato farming operation. This role is a long-term position with consistent, year-round work and is best suited to a local resident seeking stable employment.
We welcome applications from entry-level candidates with the right attitude through to experienced farm operators. Applicants holding additional licences or certifications will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
* Planting, harvesting, and irrigation
* General farm labour and day-to-day operational tasks
* Operating and maintaining farm machinery
* Forklift and truck operation (where licensed)
* Assisting with all-round farm duties as required
Skills & Experience
* No prior experience required – training provided for the right candidate
* Previous farm or agricultural experience is an advantage
* Forklift licence and/or truck licence – highly regarded
* Chemical Certificate (Chem Cert) – highly regarded
