What you'll be doing?
* Client Portfolio Management: Take charge of a diverse range of clients, providing comprehensive accounting support and building strong professional relationships.
* Bookkeeping Advisory: Maintain and offer expert advice on clients' bookkeeping practices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed financial statements, BAS returns, and tax returns with precision and attention to detail.
* Personal Tax Consultations: Conduct face-to-face individual tax return consultations, offering personalized guidance to clients.
Who are they looking for?
* Public Practice Experience: Ideally, you have 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role within a public accounting practice. However, candidates with less experience are also encouraged to apply.
* Communication Skills: You possess excellent communication abilities, enabling you to interact effectively with clients and team members.
* Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of accounting software such as MYOB, Xero & QuickBooks is highly valued.
* Attention to Detail: You have a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills, essential for delivering accurate work.
* Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with ATO liaison and other relevant agencies is beneficial but not mandatory.
* Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working as part of a supportive team.
