We are seeking a full time Human Resources Administrator at The Reef Hotel Casino, the pre-eminent centre for gaming, entertainment, food and accommodation in Cairns.
An exciting opportunity is now available for a focused individual who is eager to learn, shows initiative, and enjoys working in a structured environment to kickstart their HR career and be professionally mentored. In this role, you will support the business across a range of HR activities and work closely with the Executive Manager Human Resources and the wider HR Team.
This role would suit someone with proven administrative experience who is keen to pursue a career in HR, or a recent graduate with HR qualifications. If applicable, temporary part time arrangements may be considered to accommodate study commitments.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support across day-to-day HR administration and HR systems.
* Assist with Recruitment, Training, Performance Management, Industrial Relations, and Workplace Health & Safety.
* Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and documentation as required.
* Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures.
Criteria
* Formal HR Qualifications or currently studying towards them (desirable but not essential).
* Strong communication and organisation skills.
* Confident using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
* Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks.
* Enjoys working in a structured environment.
* Friendly, professional, and reliable.
* Previous experience in hospitality or customer service advantageous.
