About this role
* The Senior Manager Cyber Technology and Data Risk is responsible for leading the Operational Risk team to ensure a robust risk management framework at Great Southern Bank.
Key responsibilities
* Spearhead targeted risk oversight and challenge across Cyber, Technology and Data risks and controls to align with strategy, business outcomes and compliance with APRA Prudential Standards.
* Represent Second Line risk on relevant technology forums, management risk committees, project working groups and steering committees.
* Challenge and oversee technology governance frameworks and cyber resiliency.
* Analyse risk profiles, incident and issue data, assess Key Risk Indicators and prepare insights for fact-based reporting on Operational Risk performance across the bank.
* Support the development of key risk management framework artefacts.
* Work closely with stakeholders across the bank as a Cyber, Technology and Data subject matter expert including oversight, review and challenge of technology projects and resilience activities.
About you
* You will have over 10 years' experience in either 1LoD, 2LoD or 3LoD risk management and technology roles, with expertise in technology and data architecture, governance and change management and the controls required for compliance with Prudential Standards.
* You will have experience in dealing with operational, technology or project risk in a financial institution or consultancy/audit capacity, at a management level.
* You will be able to manage and influence multi-faceted stakeholders (internal and external) to meet competing priorities, different needs, and non-aligned expectations.
* You will have the ability to build strong relationships at all levels to clearly communicate good risk management practices.
* You will have knowledge of relevant financial services regulatory and compliance considerations.
* You will be able to deliver solutions to risk issues through strategic thinking.
* You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* You will have strong people management, coaching and conflict resolution skills.
