Apply or contact directly for more info.Key skills required for this roleSafety, Certification, ZHA, IntegrationImportantYou must be based in the UK and have a British Passport.You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of Design Safety Certification activities (throughout ELC Phases 1 to 6 inclusive) and In-Service Safety activities (through ELC Phases 6 to 8) for the Weapon Platform (Typhoon Aircraft) and Support Integration (Typhoon) activities, supporting Typhoon National (UK), Typhoon Export (RSAF, KSA, OMAN, QATAR), and Typhoon NETMA (UK, IT, GE, SP) customers.Typically, the role includes:Evaluation of Aircraft and Support, and Aircraft System / Sub-system, design safety in support of Platform and Support safety certification throughout ELC Phases 1 to 6Generating, updating, and reviewing Aircraft, System, and Sub-System Safety Assessment Reports for certification or providing inputs to partner companiesGenerating, updating, and reviewing Aircraft Zonal Hazard Analysis Reports (ZHAs) for certification or providing inputs to partner companiesGenerating Support Integration Safety Assessments / JustificationsMaintaining and updating the Platform and Support hazard logsReviewing certification evidence and generating safety certification arguments / justifications to ensure safety throughout ELC Phases 1 to 6Ensuring safety engineering evidence supports acceptable Safety Certification of the Weapon Platform / Support Solution product designSupporting the production of safety-related documentation with engineering teams across various phasesProviding expert advice/support to Design and Systems Engineering teams on safety analyses and risk control measuresPreparing safety certification materials for reviews with project stakeholdersUndertaking weapon system risk assessments across ELC phases 6 to 8Essential qualifications and experience:Extensive knowledge and experience in Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering, Systems or Mechanical engineering, and Safety Engineering in a Military Airborne Platform design environmentAbility to lead and influence on the technical aspects and acceptability of Product Safety throughout its lifecycleSharemanages this roleMatchtech is a STEM Recruitment Specialist, with over 35 years’ experience
