Sheetmetal workshop located in Bayswater - Specialised in aircon ductwork
We are looking for laggers to join our team, primary responsibilities are:
* Preparation of Duct Sections for Insulation
* Inspect completed ductwork.
* Clean and prepare surfaces before insulation application.
* Installation of Insulation Materials
* Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials (e.g. Glasswool blanket or board, Armaflex, polyester, acoustic liner…) to ductwork.
* Install both internal and external insulation as per specifications.
* Application of Protective Cladding
* Apply vapour barriers, foil facings, or aluminum cladding as required.
* Use tools like tin snips, knives, staple guns, and adhesives.
* Taping, Sealing and Finishing
* Seal all joints, seams, and penetrations using appropriate tapes, mastics, or glue.
* Ensure insulation is neat, secure, and free from gaps or damage.
* Use of Tools and Machinery
* Operate cutting tables, guillotines, and measuring tools safely and accurately.
* Maintain tools in good working condition.
Experience appreciated but not necessary.

Pay rate to be discussed depending on experience.
