Swing Factory is an Australian-owned business delivering a first-class experience through golf, entertainment, and hospitality. Our venue at Morack Public Golf combines a modern driving range, mini golf, café/bar, 18-hole public golf course, and a vibrant community atmosphere.
We're seeking an organised and reliable Functions & Events Assistant to support the administration and delivery of events, with hands-on operational responsibilities during scheduled events, weekends, and occasionally during the week.
The Role
This role focuses on supporting the administration, coordination, and delivery of events, with operational responsibilities when events are running. On-the-job training and guidance will be provided.
* Coordinate the end-to-end process for all functions and events at the venue
* Generate and manage event enquiries, from initial sales lead through to confirmed bookings
* Coordinate both internal and external events - including SF events, corporate golf days, and community activities
* Manage all function and events logistics, communications, and on-the-day execution to ensure a seamless experience
* Sales support for SF related programs (corporate memberships, community activation, etc.)
* Operational support as a senior team member
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, clients, and community partners
* On the ground promotional support, execution and content creation
About You
* Experience in events, hospitality, or community engagement
* Strong organisational, administration, and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outstanding customer experiences
* Confidence in customer-facing environments
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
* Current RSA, First Aid Certificate, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
