Geospatial Application Developer Role
We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Geospatial Application Developer to contribute their skills remotely.
1. Develop and maintain geospatial situational awareness applications supporting government initiatives.
* The ideal candidate will have:
* Prior experience with application development using geospatial technologies is essential;
* A strong background in software engineering principles, design patterns, and testing methodologies;
A solid understanding of databases including data modeling, querying, and optimization techniques; Familiarity with Agile project management best practices.
Frequent use of innovative approaches such as cloud-based infrastructure deployment methods,
aerial imaging tools for image processing analysis (e.g., orthorectification), map integration/overlaying/web-service consumption etc.
Various programming languages such as Python or JavaScript would be beneficial for
maintaining different types platform apps from desktop web responsive mobile services ; along also open-source third-party libraries utilized commonly already available GUI dashboard interfaces & Google collaboration documents knowledge strategically.
