Business Banking Client Services (BBCS) supports the in‐life Commercial Lending needs of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia's Business Bank. The 50‐person strong team supports over 14,000 customer needs a year from 8+ locations across Australia.

Do work that matters

The Business Banking Client Services Commercial Lending team plays a critical role in ensuring the financial wellbeing of small business lending customers and communities. Our nationally based commercial analysts work collaboratively with bankers, specialists and support teams to review the commercial lending needs of small‐business customers and support a variety of commercial needs including:

* Discharges (Full and Partial)
* Pricing requests
* Lending decisions
* Restructures and debt consolidations
* Credit reviews
Your Responsibilities
* Work closely with customers and their authorised representatives (e.g., solicitors, accountants) to support the commercial lending needs of CBA's business customers
* Prepare well‐reasoned credit decisions and correspondence in line with CBA credit strategy
* Provide high‐quality, timely customer service
* Develop and maintain professional relationships in support of team goals and objectives
* Support your Manager and Executive Manager with special projects as required
We're interested in hearing from people who have
* A passion for customer service with a focus on innovation and solution‐focused thinking
* Strong commercial lending and credit decisioning experience (CAA 2 or higher)
* Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of business structures
* Strong understanding of business lending product and associated processes/systems
* Tier 2 (highly regarded; if not already attained, requirement to obtain Tier 2 within 30 days of commencing in role)
* Attention to detail and ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders
* Advanced analytical and Microsoft Excel skills
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
* Good organisational and time‐management skills
* Previous experience in a similar role
Your Qualifications
* A recognised qualification or degree in a Risk/Compliance/finance/Business related discipline
* CAA 2 or higher
* Tier 2 (highly regarded; if not already attained, requirement to obtain Tier 2 within 30 days of commencing in role)

Location: All locations across Australia (dispersed workforce). Conditions of employment include compliance with CBA policy.
