West Albury Preschool Centre is seeking a part-time Administration Officer (4 days a week) to join our dedicated team. Qualifcations and Experience
* Cert 1V in Business Administration or similar qualification
* Bookkeeping experience essential.
* Proven experience 3-5 years as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
* Must have current Working with Children Check clearance
* Proficient in the use of Xero, including Microsoft Office suite and digital platforms such as Xplor
* Experience in early childhood education or preschool environments preferred but not essential
Tasks and responsibilities
Provide high quality administrative support to the Director and Management Committee, ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the Preschool.
Key responsibilities include delivering responsive customer service, undertaking general office administration, managing accounts payable, preparing and lodging Single Touch Payroll, and superannuation obligations, issuing invoices to families, and supporting the Director with the enrolment process for children.
Ensure all administrative practices comply with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and relevant legislative requirements.
Work collaboratively as part of the Preschool team, actively supporting and contributing to the Centre's vision and philosophy.
