We are seeking a highly skilled Sommelier to join our team, responsible for implementing and executing the wine program across multiple F&B departments. A key focus area will be on driving revenue growth through strategic menu engineering and optimizing beverage costs.
Responsibilities will include overseeing overall accountability and direction of the wine program, monitoring production from the bar and kitchen to ensure high beverage and food standards for guests, and contributing to relevant WHS, sustainability, and food safety sub-committees.
A critical aspect of the role will be to provide exceptional customer service, lead by example in promoting our brand values, and maintain formal training plans for front-of-house staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a positive 'can-do' attitude.
Qualifications include a current RSA certificate, combined with a professional image, excellent time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
