We currently have an opportunity for a Full time Manager, Community and Wellbeing to join our team.
The opportunity:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of Barossa Village's community care and residential wellbeing programs. This includes managing federally and privately funded home care services, particularly navigating the transition to the Support at Home Program and overseeing resident wellbeing initiatives in the aged care facility.
Responsibilities:
Building effective relationships with external stakeholders, including government bodies, carers, medical professionals, and other community services.
Work collaboratively with relevant subject matter experts from across the business to support the delivery of high-quality service.
Ensure a high and consistent level of customer service and support across our communities to enhance our understanding of needs and in turn their Aged Care service connections to afford ‘More Good Days’.
Provide direction and support to your team to achieve high quality outcomes for clients
Develop and oversee administrative procedures to align with funding requirements and objectives.
Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officers to research and analyse community needs shaping program directions and goals accordingly.
Essential Criteria:
Proven Management and Leadership experience, with a track record of successfully leading teams and coordinating complex projects in a community care or aged care setting.
Strong skills in preparing and managing detailed reports including financial, operational and client-focussed data.
Comprehensive understanding of consumer directed care principles and how this translates on a operational basis.
Participate in the Annual Mandatory immunisation program.
A current driver's licence.
Desirable Criteria:
Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and other Government legislation that governs Community Aged Care Services.
Degree level qualification in community, social services and/or management of similar.
