Location – Based at Albury, travel throughout West South-West Region
Employment type – Ongoing full-time
Clerk Grade 5/6, base salary ($99,938.00 - $110,271.00), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Role
As a Relieving Registrar, your role is to provide relief to roles and locations within the Albury Hub. You may be required to assist the greater West South-West Region with additional relief. A Relieving Registrar is expected to work across a variety of roles in a court registry. You will be required to perform roles requiring you to supervise a range of small to large teams. You will need to lead, manage and inspire staff in complex and changing environments. You will need to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a co-ordinated and continuously improving approach to service delivery. In certain roles, you will be required to perform some quasi-judicial and procedural functions. You will need to have strong communication skills and be able work closely with existing management teams, complying with their processes and procedures. What You'll Do
* Adapt to working in a variety of different roles and jurisdictions.
* Work across a variety of court locations, building rapport with many different staff members
* Manage, develop and motivate staff in a fast paced and challenging court environment
* Implement procedures and training to ensure staff are adequately equipped to ensure best practices and standards are provided to clients
* Provide advice and report to senior management on the registry's operations in accordance with reporting policy and procedure
* Contribute to the development and implementation of changes aimed at enhancing client service and/or improving efficiency
* Promote a positive working environment that values ethical behaviour and good performance whilst meeting statutory and administrative obligations
* Where required by the role, undertake quasi-judicial or other statutory functions such as applications made under the Law Enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities) Act 2002 (LEPRA) or conducting call-overs

What We're Looking For
* You must hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence.
* You must be willing to travel to other locations within the Albury Hub (Albury, Holbrook, Tumbarumba, Corowa, Finley, Deniliquin, Moama). At times, this may be at short notice.
* You must be willing to travel to other locations within the West South-West Region. This region encompasses Albury, Bathurst, Broken Hill, Dubbo, Griffith, Orange and Wagga Wagga and surrounding areas.
* Travel arrangements may be for extended periods of time, including weekends.
* A departmental motor vehicle will be provided when available and the appropriate allowances paid for travel.
