Your Role As An Assistant Director / Educational Leader
As the Assistant Director/ Educational Leader, you will work closely with the Centre Director to help lead a high-performing team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations, compliance, and exceptional care for families.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the Centre Director with leadership and management duties
Assisting with daily operations, staff rosters, and centre documentation
Mentoring educators and promoting a positive, team-focused culture
Ensuring the centre maintains compliance with regulations and policies
Building strong relationships with families and the local community
Leading and implementing centre events, initiatives, and programs
Who You Are
You're passionate, nurturing, and thrive in a collaborative team. You build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, and bring energy, creativity, and innovation to your teaching practice. You're ready to lead and inspire others while always putting children first.
What You'll Need
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
(or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
Minimum 6 months' experience
as an Educational Leader or in a leadership role
Current Working with Children Check
Up-to-date First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training
Child Protection Certificate
Experience or interest
in a leadership/management pathway
A commitment to ongoing learning
and professional development
