Hancock Energy has a full-time opportunity for a Contract and Procurement Lead to join a growing team supporting onshore oil and gas projects throughout Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement contracting strategies aligned with company principles and market intelligence.
* Collaborate with technical teams to develop scopes and minimise commercial risks.
* Negotiate, finalise and prepare contracts for execution
* Lead tender development, bid evaluation and supplier selection.
* Draft, review, and manage contracts and variations.
* Support development of Contract & Procurement processes and systems.
* Develop and maintain accurate records in contract management systems ensuring compliancy.
* Provide advice on procurement timeliness and contract obligations.
* Manage service providers.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* At least 10 years' experience in Oil & Gas Procurement and Contracts
* Proven experience developing Contract and Procurement systems and processes.
* Experience in Drilling and Completions services scope development, supplier qualification, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, contract finalisation, award and administration
* Good supplier management and negotiation skills
* Strong analytical and communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including across technical and commercial teams.
