Job Description:
The Legal Practitioner will undertake litigation on behalf of the Department and provide legal services and support with particular emphasis on matters relating to family violence as part of the Safe at Home whole-of-government strategy for preventing, reducing, and responding to incidents of family violence in Tasmania.
Key Duties:
* Undertake litigation on behalf of the Department.
* Provide legal services and support to the Department.
* Focus on matters related to family violence.
Period of Appointment:
Permanent, Full-time.
Hours per Fortnight:
73.50 hours per fortnight - discuss flexible arrangements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Admitted or qualified for admission as a Barrister or practitioner of the Supreme Court of Tasmania under the Legal Profession Act 2007 with more than 2 years' relevant post-admission experience.
