This is a high-impact PPA Origination role within a fast-growing energy markets team, driving commercial strategy, securing offtake agreements, and shaping the revenue model behind a significant pipeline of solar and BESS projects. Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute origination and hedging strategies across the Australian and New Zealand portfolios.
* Secure bankable PPAs, storage agreements, financial hedges and other revenue-optimising commercial structures.
* Analyse market conditions, policy changes and counterparty insights to identify new routes to market and commercial opportunities.
* Manage and optimise the environmental product portfolio.
* Collaborate with development, structured finance, operations and legal teams to align commercial strategy and maximise project financing outcomes.
Qualifications
* Strong experience in the National Electricity Market (NEM) and utility-scale renewables.
* Exposure to the WEM and/or New Zealand electricity market is highly desirable.
* Proven track record in originating, negotiating and structuring complex renewable energy and storage transactions.
* Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to assess opportunities, risks and revenue models.
* Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
