Each shift is staffed with one enrolled nurse and one registered nurse, working together in a collaborative team environment. The unit follows a model of care aimed at patients with a 24–48-hour hospital stay, ensuring efficient care in a fast-paced setting with a high turnover of patients each day. The team supports one another to deliver exceptional patient care. In the near future, the unit will expand to include five cardiac-monitored beds as part of its bed profile.

Nestled on the banks of the Manning River, the Barrington Coast is a hidden gem that combines the charm of country living with the beauty of riverside serenity. This vibrant area on the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales boasts lush green landscapes, breathtaking waterways, and a welcoming community spirit that makes it feel like home the moment you arrive.
