The Role:
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable individual to join our small team as a Weekend Market Stall Assistant. You will be an essential part of our operation, helping us set up, run, and pack down our market stall, providing excellent customer service, and sharing your passion for great food.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with loading, transporting, setting up, and packing down the market stall.
* Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient customer service.
* Handle sales transactions using a Square/iPad POS system.
* Talk to customers about our products and make recommendations.
* Keep the stall tidy and well-presented throughout the day.
* Help manage stock levels on the stall.
Essential Requirements:
*
Must have your own reliable car and a full driver's license.
This is non-negotiable, as you will need to help transport equipment and stock to and from market locations.
* Available to work every Saturday and Sunday. Market hours typically run from approx. 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (hours may vary).
* Physically fit enough to handle lifting, carrying, and being on your feet for most of the day.
* A positive, can-do attitude and a love for interacting with people.
* A passion for food, especially pasta, is a huge plus
