Strategic Communications Manager
To fulfill our organization's purpose and vision, we are seeking a highly skilled Communications & Engagement Lead to coordinate the delivery of communication and engagement products for our program.
* Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with our organizational goals and objectives.
* Provide strategic counsel to executives and stakeholders on communication risks, opportunities, and engagement approaches.
* Cultivate and develop a high-performing team of communication professionals, fostering collaboration, excellence, and innovation.
* Oversee and manage all aspects of program communication activities, ensuring consistent messaging, integration with change initiatives, and adherence to governance frameworks.
* Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, aligning engagement efforts with program priorities and delivering maximum impact.
* Leverage various channels, including digital platforms, intranet, newsletters, media releases, and more, to maximize the reach and effectiveness of our communication efforts.
* Evaluate and improve our communication strategies, practices, and policies to ensure they remain relevant, effective, and compliant.
You will bring significant experience in developing and executing complex communication strategies across large-scale programs and transformations. Essential skills include:
* Tertiary qualifications in communications, PR, change management, or related fields.
* Proven expertise in planning, executing, and evaluating communication activities in agile environments.
* Strong leadership skills, including the ability to coach, develop, and motivate teams.
* Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your tone and style to suit diverse audiences.
