Job Role: Strategic Medicines Leader
About the Position
You will be appointed as a Senior Pharmacist in Cancer Services, overseeing the overall direction and day-to-day operation of Cancer Services across the organisation.
* Provide expert medicines information, therapeutic advice and clinical support to patients, medical and nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
* Ensure all services align with organisational policies, divisional procedures and professional standards, contributing to safe, effective and consistent pharmacy practice.
Your Responsibilities
* Champion the quality use of medicines by implementing evidence-based strategies that optimise patient outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner.
* Contribute to clinical decision-making, support multidisciplinary collaboration and promote best-practice standards across the service.
* Drive continuous improvement, strengthen medication safety, and foster a positive, patient-centred culture within the pharmacy and broader healthcare team.
