Full-time Electric Motorcycle Technician required to join the team at our new flagship store in Burleigh Heads, QLD 4220. Must have a car plus motorcycle license and your own tools. You will be sharing the workshop with a qualified mechanic and fabricator.
We work on all types and brands of electric motorcycles and scooters in a professional workshop. You will be primarily preparing, servicing and repairing Zero, Stark and Energica electric motorcycles. Experience in using advanced diagnostic software for those 3 brands is preferred - any work experience with Diag4Zero or EM Suite would be hugely beneficial in this role. Responsibilities include preparing new motorcycles, general servicing for electric motorcycles, warranty repair work, in-depth diagnostic analysis of system errors/failure - working with offshore specialist brand engineers to find resolutions to bike problems, stock control and ordering parts, logistics and transport support. Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. Additional weekend hours available as overtime. We also offer a bonus package tied to billable hours each week - giving you the opportunity to add up to $2,200 per month to your base salary. To be successful you will need:
* Relevant qualifications and work history
* Perform routine service and maintenance on electric and petrol motorcycles
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, including battery, motor, and controller systems
* Activate, deactivate, and update software-based motorcycle functions
* Replace components and carry out mechanical repairs
* Ensure compliance with high-voltage safety procedures and workshop standards
* Assist in troubleshooting and supporting hybrid systems where applicable
* Technical and problem-solving skills
* Exceptional time management
* Good communication skills
* Strong work ethic be punctual, reliable, honest and self-motivated
* Good industry references
* Own tools
* Current car and motorcycle license
* Competent computer skills
