Job Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Package Handler to join our team at our delivery station in Keswick. As a Package Handler, you will play a vital role in ensuring packages are sorted efficiently and accurately for timely delivery.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to thrive in a team-oriented setting.
Key responsibilities include unloading trucks, scanning and labeling each package, and sorting parcels according to their route numbers to ensure a smooth process for the delivery team.
Additionally, you will need to demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, and commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
Key Qualifications
* Previous experience working in a Delivery Station or warehouse setting is preferred.
* Ability to lift up to 25kgs and remain on your feet for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
* Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality for early morning shifts.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
