About the Role:
Due to continued growth, the client is seeking a skilled and driven Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team in Seven Hills. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the production of asphalt and manage site operations to ensure demand is met efficiently, safely, and in line with high-quality standards. You'll be responsible for supervising teams, coordinating production, and maintaining compliance with HSEQ requirements across day and night shifts supporting government, defense, airports, seaports, and property development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead daily production meetings with contracting, sales, and operations teams.
* Conduct daily safety toolbox talks and ensure prestart checks are completed
* Achieve daily production targets and maintain accurate documentation
* Manage raw material orders to meet operational requirements.
* Plan and coordinate maintenance days and shutdowns.
* Oversee the completion of scheduled maintenance tasks.
* Develop staff rosters aligned with production demands.
* Ensure team training is maintained according to the site's training matrix.
Essential Skills, Tickets, and Experience:
* Proven experience in fixed plant manufacturing, production, and operations.
* Supervisory experience in asphalt or a similar industry.
* Engineering background or trade qualifications highly regarded.
* Strong understanding of HSEQ standards and compliance.
* Effective communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Familiarity with packaging processes.
* Front-end loader and/or forklift licence (desirable).
* Confined space and working at heights certification (desirable).
