About us
The story of Toby's Estate began in 1997, in the grungy streets of Woolloomooloo, armed with Mum's garage, a beat‐up coffee roaster and passion on tap, we set out on a wild adventure of business and coffee discovery. Not concerned with the frills of it all, but just that we were consistently consistent in roasting the tastiest coffee we could and treating all the people in our world like family.
Rapid forward 26 years we're a crack team and merry band of misfits united by a common passion for doing amazing things, and at the forefront of pushing the limits of premium specialty coffee.
Day to day in this role you will
* Work alongside our FOH and barista team to ensure that every cup of coffee that leaves our hands is at the same high quality standard.
* Provide an excellent coffee experience to our Toby's customers.
* Lead by example and motivate those around you, execute drink preparation, service and a spirit of genuine hospitality.
We are looking for someone who has
* A genuine love for coffee and the hospitality industry and is eager to share their knowledge and experience.
* Robust technical barista skills in all areas of preparation: brewing, espresso, latte art.
* The ability to build strong relationships with both coworkers and our customers.
