About the Role
We are seeking a hospitality professional with cooking qualifications to join our team at a remote mining village in QLD. This permanent Cook/Utility role offers a 14/7 roster, fly in and out from Cairns.
* Prepare and present high-quality meals for our clients, including breakfast, crib, dinner and functions.
* Maintain accurate records of stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking.
* Ensure the kitchen, equipment and utensils are clean and well-maintained.
* Comply with legislated food hygiene and general safety practices.
* Provide fast, effective service with a smile.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of industry experience.
* Food Safety Certification (desirable).
* A strong commitment to our Quality and Safety Management system.
* Ability to work well alone and as part of a team.
* Genuine, friendly and professional customer service skills.
* Motivated, enthusiastic and positive attitude.
