Disability Support Worker – Join HLS as We Establish Services in Toowoomba

Heart-Led Support (HLS) is expanding into Toowoomba, and we are looking for a small group of passionate support workers who want to help build something meaningful in the region.
This is a great opportunity to join an organisation at the early stages of establishing local supports. The right people will have the chance to grow with the organisation as services expand across the Toowoomba region.

About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will work directly with participants to support their independence, wellbeing and community participation.
Supports may include:
* Community access and social activities
* Supporting daily living skills and independence
* Personal care where required
* Transport to appointments, activities and community events
* Supporting participants to work toward their personal goals
* Writing clear shift notes and communicating with the broader team
Supports may take place in participant homes, supported living environments or within the community.

In-Person Interviews in Toowoomba
Members of the Heart-Led Support leadership team will be travelling to Toowoomba to meet potential team members.
Ryan and Adam will be conducting interviews in person on:
18th March (Wednesday) & 19th March (Thursday)

What We’re Looking For
* Genuine interest in supporting people with disability
* Reliable, positive and professional approach
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends
Requirements
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
* Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
* Current First Aid & CPR
* Driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* Ability to complete shift notes and documentation
Experience in disability support is valued but not essential for the right candidate.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Pay: $35.00 – $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 38.0 per week
