Role Description
This is a full‐time hybrid role for a Lighting Installation Assistant, based in Brisbane, QLD, with opportunities for some remote work. The role involves assisting with the installation, setup, and maintenance of decorative lighting systems, ensuring proper functioning and safety measures are followed. Day‐to‐day responsibilities include transporting equipment, collaborating with team members on projects, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring all installations align with aesthetic and design standards. The Lighting Installation Assistant will also assist in preparing and organizing lighting systems for various residential, commercial, and public installations.
Qualifications
* Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, or lighting installation processes
* Experience with tools and equipment used in lighting or general installations
* Problem‐solving and troubleshooting skills to address technical issues
* Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team environment
* Capability to adapt to indoor and outdoor working conditions and meet physical demands of installations
* Attention to detail and commitment to ensuring high‐quality, safe installations
* Relevant trade certifications or equivalent experience in lighting or electrical work (preferred but not required)
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites
