Our solutions improve the techniques and outcomes of surgery so patients can resume their lives as quickly as possible.Position SummaryThe responsibility of the Territory Manager is to manage the assigned territory by developing effective strategic plans, utilizing Globus Medical’s resources, and timely implementing actions to achieve optimal results that meet or exceed annual sales goals. The TM is to market and promote Globus Medical assigned products within the guidelines of the company Quality Policy and procedures in assigned territory. The sales goals and objectives assigned will be met and exceeded by having a full knowledge of Globus products, offerings, and surgical techniques, understanding the customer needs and professionally positioning Globus Medical products above the competition to fulfill those needs.Essential FunctionsMeets or exceeds all sales goals and objectives assigned in assigned territoryGains and consistently increases product knowledge through formal sales training; surgeon speaker programs, attending surgeries or visits, and industry researchMaintains conduct that is aligned with company quality policy, and protects confidentiality with proprietary information.Communicates new ideas promptly to product developmentAttends and participates in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directedDevelops thorough knowledge and understanding of all Globus Medical products and major competitors in all product areasRegularly provides feedback on topics such as product development opportunities, new target accounts, sales performance, and market feedbackDevelops relationships with key spine surgeon customersMaintains Consignments and Loaner inventory, moves loaner sets between accounts as neededRegularly communicates with the Area Director to review status of Business Plan including: utilization of resources, discussions on strategy, sales execution, obtaining approval for educational programs, resolution of issues and outstanding administrative responsibilitiesCreates and implements an annual business plan with quarterly updatesManages travel expenses within budgetEffectively manages any qualified Associate Spine SpecialistAdheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your roleRepresents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third partiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Qualifications5+ years of medical device sales or demonstrated successful territory management experience; Bachelor’s DegreeExperience demonstrating a strong hunter mentalityStrong understanding of spinal anatomy; operating room experience preferredAbility to travel as necessary, which may include nights and/or weekendsAbility to make sales presentations with positive resultsManual dexterity is essentialProficiency in MS OfficeAbility to collaborate and influence; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsOur ValuesOur Life Moves Us philosophy is built on four values: Passionate About Innovation, Customer Focused, Teamwork, and Driven.Passionate about Innovation: Improving patient care by delivering advanced technology to our customers is at the core of what we do.
