Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Dentist to provide high-quality dental care to patients in a dynamic and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering emergency treatments, general examinations, preventative treatments, restorations, minor oral surgical procedures, x-rays, extractions, root canal treatments, and prosthodontics management.
This role is critical in promoting and maintaining the oral health of personnel to ensure they are dentally fit for deployment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a strong commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide dental services to patients, including emergency treatments and routine examinations
* Conduct preventative treatments, such as cleaning and polishing teeth
* Perform restorative treatments, including fillings and crowns
* Carry out minor oral surgical procedures, such as extractions and biopsies
* Take x-rays and diagnose dental problems
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Australian Citizenship for Commonwealth Security Clearance
* Current unrestricted registration as a Dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Minimum 2 years of full-time post-graduate clinical chair-side experience within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent)
