Our participants, Our people, Our purpose
The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is the independent statutory agency responsible for implementing the world-leading National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), supporting eligible Australians with permanent and significant disability.
After more than a decade of operation, the NDIS is in a major period of change, with a focus on improving participant experience, strengthening integrity, and ensuring long-term financial stability. The NDIA is committed to enhancing the quality of life and increasing both economic and social participation for people with disability.
A new role awaits
It is an exciting time to join the NDIA as we continue to strengthen and reform the Scheme. A key focus for the agency is enhancing service delivery and building capability in allied health to support the NDIS now and into the future.
The NDIA Graduate Program (NDIA GP) is designed to support graduates as they begin their careers in the NDIA and the Australian Public Service (APS). Through a structured learning and development journey, the program combines formal training with meaningful, hands-on experience across a range of business areas within the agency.
The program runs over 12 months and offers a wide range of opportunities to build your skills, broaden your experience, and develop the capabilities needed to thrive in a high-performing organisation. You will gain valuable insight into how the NDIA operates, while making a genuine contribution to important work that supports Australians with disability.
If you are passionate about social inclusion, value diversity, and are looking to kick-start a purposeful and rewarding career, the NDIA GP could be the perfect place to start.
The NDIA Graduate Program gives graduates the opportunity to:
* contribute to meaningful work supporting Australians living with disability to have greater participation in the community and the economy
* develop the foundational skills, behaviours, mindsets and networks graduates need to make a meaningful contribution to the APS, supported through a formal development framework
* gain broad experience and exposure to different business areas through job rotations within the host business area and across the broader NDIA
* be part of an inclusive and diverse work environment, where you'll be mentored to build strong professional networks at the NDIA and in the APS
* benefit from a competitive salary and flexible working conditions that support positive work-life balance
* access an accelerated career pathway and salary progression from APS4.1 pay point on commencement to APS5.1 pay point upon successful completion of the Graduate Program.
