About Pillar Allied Health
Pillar Allied Health is a multidisciplinary clinic supporting clients of all ages across therapy, assessments, and specialist programs. We pride ourselves on inclusivity, broad funding acceptance, and trauma-informed care. With locations in Newcastle and Brisbane, we offer both in-person and telehealth services. We have a team of clinical, general, and provisional psychologists, mental health social workers, counsellors, therapy assistants, occupational therapists, and a dietician.
The Role
We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our growing team on a part-time basis. You'll work with a diverse caseload, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, providing assessment and therapy services. Flexible scheduling and telehealth options available.
We have clinic space available on Mondays and Thursdays in our office and are happy to have someone work 2 - 5 days with us depending on what suits, with telehealth options/ working from home for report writing, available on alternative days to clinic days.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality OT assessments and therapy in clinic (face-to-face and/or telehealth)
* Develop and implement client-centred intervention plans
* Maintain clinical documentation in line with funding and regulatory requirements
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
* Participate in regular peer supervision and professional development
* Complete FCE's and relevant reports for the NDIS
* Work with therapy assistants to deliver appropriate resources for individuals and families
About You
* Degree in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration
* Experience with a broad client base (children, adolescents, adults) preferred
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Commitment to trauma-informed, client-centred practice
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Current Working With Children Check, Police Check, and professional indemnity insurance (or willingness to obtain)
