Explore more on Cubic.com.Job DetailsEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in planning, coordination, setup, and conduct of live training in accordance with clients' schedules of activities.Liaise with external agencies as required.Comply with all risk management plans and safety procedures for all live training activities and exercises.
Ensure all firing or initiation of non-pyrotechnic or other effects is approved by the PM-TS prior to firing.Assist with preparation of activity correspondence, instructions, presentations, and papers to support all live training activities.Assist and participate in virtual, constructive, and command post exercises in accordance with contractual responsibilities.Support military exercises in accordance with contractual responsibilities.
Be prepared to live and work in the field for the duration of these activities/exercises.Assist in the management and security of all company equipment.
Support maintenance schedules and conduct inspections on familiar and qualified equipment.Assist in ongoing regulatory and company compliance of all equipment.Support the company's ISO 9000 compliance strategies.Perform personnel and technical administration tasks as required.Prepare and pack equipment for deployment and re-deployment to/from training areas, including repairs.General Duties and ResponsibilitiesComply with Cubic's Quality Management System.Adhere to Cubic Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment policies and procedures.Follow security policies and procedures.Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures.Perform other duties as requested.QualificationsMinimum Job Requirements:Forklift licence (desirable)Cert IV in HSE (desirable)Medium rigid driver's licence (desirable)ExperienceMinimum 6 years' experience in defence forces up to SNCO/Warrant Officer level.Pyrotechnic training experience.Experience in training delivery (desirable).Personal QualitiesAbility to work independently or within a small team.Willingness to travel and work outdoors in remote environments.Excellent interpersonal skills.High levels of customer support and service orientation.Ability to work in noisy and hectic environments.Must be able to stand or sit for long periods.Condition of EmploymentSuccessful completion of a National Police Check.Worker TypeEmployee
