The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Motor Rewinder / Mechanical Electrical Fitter to join our expanding team in Truganina. This is a senior hands‑on position ideal for a tradesperson who enjoys combining technical excellence with mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
* Overhaul, rewind and repair AC and DC motors and generators.
* Perform and record electrical / mechanical inspections and tests.
* Carry out testing, fault diagnosis and precision repairs on rotating equipment and associated electrical components.
* Lead and mentor apprentices and junior fitters ensuring best practice and safety compliance.
* Maintain accurate job records and adhere to all WHS requirements.
About You
* Certificate III in Electrical Fitting / Electrotechnology or equivalent trade qualification.
* 5 years experience in electric motor rewinding and rotating equipment repair.
* Strong attention to detail, excellent fault‑finding skills and solid mathematical aptitude.
* Reliability, strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
