Senior Practice Leader
The Department of Corrections plays a vital role in maintaining community safety and upholding the principles of justice.
The Senior Practice Leader oversees the Practice Leadership Team (PLT) to enhance Community Corrections' management of domestic, family and sexual violence offending, as well as boost staff expertise and retention through the implementation of the Resilience Framework (RF) initiatives.
* Tertiary qualifications in psychology or social work with unconditional registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency or as a social worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers;
* Demonstrated experience in criminogenic assessment, treatment and risk management of high-risk offenders;
* Expertise in the assessment and delivery of psychological interventions for non-criminogenic needs;
* Experience as a supervisor and ability to design and deliver training on a range of criminogenic practice topics;
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategies to strengthen Community Corrections' management of domestic, family and sexual violence offending;
