We are seeking a highly proactive and organised Personal Assistant to support a senior leader within a large government Asset Management area. This role is ideal for an experienced PA who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys managing competing priorities, and takes pride in staying one step ahead.
This is a key support role, providing high-level administrative, coordination, and stakeholder liaison assistance to ensure the General Manager is well-prepared, informed, and able to focus on strategic priorities.
About the Role
As the Personal Assistant, you will be the central point of coordination for the General Manager's day-to-day operations. You will proactively manage workflows, diaries, correspondence, and communications, while providing professional customer service to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
This role requires someone who can confidently "manage the manager", anticipate needs, triage priorities, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively manage and coordinate the General Manager's diary, appointments, and daily schedule
* Prepare pre-reading materials, agendas, and papers to support meetings and weekly planning
* Monitor and manage inboxes and correspondence, prioritising actions and redirecting items as required
* Coordinate information and logistics for meetings, executive briefings, workshops, and events
* Prepare agendas, minutes, reports, and professional correspondence
* Maintain document templates and administrative systems in line with organisational standards
* Act as a key point of contact for the branch, liaising confidently with senior leaders, elected representatives, and external stakeholders
* Provide general administrative and file management support to the broader branch when required
About You
You are a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant with experience supporting senior leaders in complex environments. You are confident managing competing priorities, handling sensitive information, and communicating professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
You enjoy taking ownership, problem-solving, and ensuring your manager is supported seamlessly.
