Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Executive Officer for Population Health.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with hybrid working arrangements. As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the National Manager Population Health & Wellbeing and team to deliver key portfolio priorities.

Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating to develop, implement, and monitor strategic and operational initiatives, projects, and organisational priorities. You will also build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure strategic, collaborative, and consistent best-practice approaches across the portfolio.

In addition, you will create, review, and refine various communications (emails, reports, submissions, presentations) aligned with our policies and strategy. You will support the coordination and preparation of internal/external meetings, representing us when needed.

You will also contribute to the development of our policy and advocacy from both a national and local perspective. Furthermore, you will assist in planning and executing events, including preparing presentations and speeches or managing event logistics.

Apart from these duties, you will support operational and administrative functions within our office. You will also monitor and track budget expenditures for the Population Health & Wellbeing portfolio, ensuring accountability through regular updates and reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

* Strong communication skills with the ability to foster collaboration across all organisational levels.
* A background in fields such as public health, social services, business management, advocacy, or public relations.
* Proven skills in administration, project management, and time management.
* Ability to build trust and positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
* Understanding of cardiovascular health and related social, economic, and political factors.
* Sound judgement and agility in solving complex, strategic challenges.
