Telecommunications Field Engineer Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Field Engineer to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
* Design and Construction: Prepares construction drawings and sketches, leads the preparation of construction drawings and schedules, and designs temporary construction facilities.
* Quality Assurance: Performs in-progress and final quality and completeness inspections of electrical and telecommunications installations, develops punch lists, and monitors completion of punch items.
* Documentation: Prepares and disposes of Request for Information (RFI's), Field Change Documents (FCD's), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
* Collaboration: Coordinates with engineering to resolve E&I design and constructability issues and resolves vendor and Modyard carryover works, NCRs, and necessary documentations.
* Support: Provides technical assistance to superintendents, supervisors, and craft professionals, initiates requisitions for field purchases, prepares quantity takeoffs, reviews material receiving reports, and performs material receiving inspections.
Requirements:
* Education and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Skills and Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications field engineering, strong knowledge of electrical and telecommunications systems, and excellent problem-solving skills.
