The Opportunity
Axiom is seeking an experienced Senior Site Planner to support a regional mining project, currently transitioning into the execution phase. This is a site-based FIFO role embedded within the owner's team, where you will play a key role in driving planning outcomes and supporting project delivery. This position offers strong project longevity and the opportunity to be involved in a large‐scale development from early execution through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain integrated project schedules aligned with execution strategies.
* Develop and maintain integrated project schedules aligned to execution plans
* Lead planning activities across construction and delivery teams
* Analyse schedule performance and identify risks and recovery actions
* Provide forecasting and planning insights to project leadership
* Coordinate planning inputs across engineering, procurement and construction
* Facilitate planning and schedule review meetings
* Review contractor schedules and ensure alignment with the project plan
* Support change management through schedule impact analysis
About You
You are an experienced planner who is comfortable working independently within an owner's team and operating in a site-based project environment.
You will bring:
* Proven experience as a Senior Planner within mining and resources oil & gas projects
* Experience working large‐scale project developments
* Strong capability in planning, scheduling and project controls practices
* Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 or equivalent tools
* Ability to analyse schedules, forecast outcomes and support decision‐making
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills across multidisciplinary teams
* A willingness to work FIFO on‐site in a regional area
* Applicants must have long‐term work rights in Australia
