THE OPPORTUNITY
Adventist Senior Living (ASL) is seeking a General Manager People & Culture to join our Corporate Office team in Cooranbong on a full-time basis.
The General manager People & Culture (GMPC) provides strategic leadership, operational services and advice to the organisation to ensure the People and Culture (P&C) function supports the delivery and implementation of the organisation's strategic and operational plans across our 500+ employees. The People & Culture team is spread across two locations, Lake Macquarie and Northern Rivers.
SELECTION CRITERIA
* Tertiary qualifications in People and Culture/Human Resources or equivalent field
* Demonstrated experience in leading a people and culture function and making a strategic and operational contribution to an organisation's direction through sound P&C strategy, services and advice
* Substantial relevant experience working collectively with P&C colleagues to provide internal P&C services/partnering with managers, including:
o Learning and education
o Staff attraction and retention
o Employee Relations
o Quality and compliance
o P&C projects
* Demonstrated skills and experience in the following behavioural competencies at a level that positively impacts the organisation:
o Leading and supervising
o Formulating concepts and strategies
o Working with people
o Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
o Deciding and initiating action
o Demonstrated commitment to a positive organisational culture and ASL's culture program 'The ASL Way'.
