Trauma-Informed Youth Worker
Supporting homeless young people in residential care settings is a challenging yet rewarding experience. It requires fostering life skills, encouraging independence and collaboration with diverse youth to build confidence and monitor their wellbeing. The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV qualification and flexibility to work various shifts.
Required Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy is also required.
Qualifications: A Certificate IV qualification or higher in a related field such as social work, youth work or community services is highly desirable.
