Job Description
* Drive new business acquisition across the coffee packaging market, identifying and converting opportunities in line with growth targets
* Build and manage a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking and industry engagement
* Develop long-term, trusted relationships with customers, understanding their operational and commercial needs
* Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and negotiate commercial agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including sales leadership and support teams, to execute growth strategies
* Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting and reporting to support strategic decision-making
* Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions and customer sites (including interstate travel as required)
The Successful Applicant
* Proven experience in business development, sales or commercial roles within coffee, packaging, FMCG or adjacent industries
* Strong understanding of the coffee industry (roasting, brewing, supply chain or equipment) - you "speak the language"
* Demonstrated success in building new business pipelines and converting opportunities
* Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
* A team-first, collaborative mindset - this is not an individual contributor culture
* High levels of resilience, professionalism and commercial acumen
* Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to travel regularly
* CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency (HubSpot exposure advantageous)
