We're looking for a confident and motivated
Manager – Contractor Relationships
to lead our Contractor Relationships team, responsible for managing and strengthening partnerships with our commissioned service providers.

This is a pivotal leadership role that blends strategic oversight with hands-on relationship management. You'll guide an established and capable team, shape how we collaborate with commissioned providers, and drive continuous improvement in how services are delivered and monitored.

As Manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute to better health outcomes across Tasmania by working at system level with a diverse range of providers and partners. You'll influence how commissioning is implemented, support effective service delivery, and see the direct and meaningful impact of your work in the community.

What you would be doing

Reporting to the General Manager – Health Service Commissioning, your focus will be:

* Overseeing contract negotiations, performance monitoring and risk management
* Working closely with internal teams and providers to resolve issues, improve service quality and make sure contracts are clear, achievable and aligned to funding objectives
* Leading and managing your team to reach their full potential

Here's what you'll look like

Your background may be in health, community services or government sectors, with experience in contract management, commissioning, procurement, program management or senior provider management.

* Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
* Practical experience in contract management and performance monitoring
* Leadership capability to manage and develop across your functional team
