We're currently seeking compassionate and reliable staff for casual, ad hoc shifts across residential disability facilities and community settings in the Woy Woy region. About the Roles Disability Support Workers You'll provide direct care and support to clients with disabilities in their homes or supported accommodation. Your role will focus on enhancing daily living, community access, and emotional wellbeing. Key Duties: Support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including hygiene and mobility Provide manual handling and medication assistance Support community access, social engagement, and daily routines Work with clients with Behaviours of Concern Build respectful and trusting relationships with clients and families Registered Nurses - Disability Facilities As an RN, you'll work on a casual, ad hoc basis providing clinical support in residential disability settings. You'll collaborate with Disability Support Workers and contribute to both clinical care and daily support needs. Key Responsibilities: Administer medications and manage PEG feeding regimes Provide wound care, catheter care, and personal care assistance Be proficient in epilepsy management and emergency response Understand dysphagia and strictly follow MMP (Meal Management Plans) for all oral intake Support and assist AINs/DSWs with personal care tasks as required Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team What You'll Need For Disability Support Workers: Prior experience in disability or community care Knowledge of ADLs, manual handling, and behavioural support NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, First Aid & CPR For Registered Nurses: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Experience in disability, aged care, or similar residential environments Demonstrated skills in PEG care, catheter care, wound care, and epilepsy support Awareness of dysphagia and safe feeding practices (MMPs) NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, First Aid & CPR Why Choose H1 Healthcare?
