This major player in the health care sector, who offer a hybrid work environment, are undergoing a period of growth and as such, are in need of a Senior Data Network Engineer with Meraki skills.

The role:
As one of 2 Senior Engineers, in this critical role you will be involved in the design, implementation, automation, monitoring, and maintain security of enterprise-wide network infrastructure and services, to ensure high availability, performance, and resilience. You will lead the evolution of network technologies and ensure seamless integration of telephony, mobile and cloud-based networking platforms.
This role covers the full network stack including access, edge, and data centre networks, SD-WAN, Azure networking, network carriage services (including mobile telephony), observability platforms, incident response, telephony systems (Cisco WebEx and Microsoft Teams), along with network automation and security, including
Meraki.
You will be involved in:
* Owning and managing the full lifecycle of network technologies.
* Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient network architectures across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments
* Lead network observability initiatives to ensure proactive monitoring and performance optimization
* Design and support access and edge layer networks, including wireless and remote access solutions
* Architect and maintain SD-WAN and Azure network solutions for secure and efficient connectivity.
* Manage and evolve telephony and collaboration platforms including Cisco WebEx and MS Teams
* Oversee mobile and fixed network carriage services and vendor relationships
You will bring to the role:
* Solid experience in enterprise network design, implementation, and support
* Strong understanding of network observability tools and practices, including
Meraki
* Deep knowledge of data centre and edge networking technologies
* Hands-on experience with SD-WAN and Azure networking architecture and deployment
While any experience with the following will be treated as a plus:
* Proven experience with telephony and collaboration platforms -
Cisco WebEx and MS Teams
* Experience managing mobile and fixed network carriage services
