Wound Closure Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Wound Closure Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a leading company in the medical devices industry, developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth and increase market share.
As a Wound Closure Specialist, you will be responsible for engaging with specialist surgeons and key hospital decision makers, developing relationships and new business opportunities to achieve sale revenue and increase market share. You will also develop in-depth product and clinical knowledge across our range of Wound Closure products, coordinating product demonstrations and collaborating with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with specialist surgeons and key hospital decision makers to develop relationships and new business opportunities
* Develop in-depth product and clinical knowledge across our range of Wound Closure products
* Coordinate product demonstrations and collaborate with internal teams
* Establish and run regular training for theatre personnel, and partner with internal Professional Education team to offer additional high-level training opportunities
* Liaise with various stakeholders, providing accurate information regarding all products and their indications to customers
* Monitor competitor activity and market trends, and maintain a high level of surgical and industry knowledge as relevant to the role
Requirements:
* Degree qualification in a health-related field, science, or business, with proven skills in medical devices or pharmaceutical sales and territory management
* Passion for building strong effective relationships and driving commercial outcomes, and tenacity and enthusiasm with a true desire to understand and support customers
* Strong collaborative nature to work as a team, and highly organised with the ability to function independently as a field-based representative
* Outstanding communication and presentation skills, and the ability to travel domestically to the assigned territory

This position requires regular travel to hospitals in Western Sydney and to regional locations in Western NSW including Bathurst, Dubbo and Orange. All applicants must have rights to work in Australia, a reliable car and a valid Driver Licence.
