Position
They are seeking an experienced Finance and Administration manager to join the organisation initially on a 2-month contract .
Reporting to the General Manager, Corporate Services, this position oversees essential corporate functions that underpin the organisation's day-to-day performance and long-term sustainability. The role provides leadership across finance, procurement, facilities, and risk, while identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and operational efficiency.
The position is central to maintaining strong governance, managing resources responsibly, and supporting the organisation to operate effectively, meet its obligations, and deliver positive outcomes for members.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead financial management, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting to support effective decision-making and strong governance
* Deliver accurate and timely management, board, and regulatory reporting, including audit and statutory requirements
* Oversee tax and payroll compliance, ensuring accuracy, controls, and alignment with legislative obligations
* Manage procurement, contracts, and vendor performance to drive value for money and policy compliance
* Oversee facilities, fixed assets, and workplace services to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable operations
* Identify and manage financial, operational, and compliance risks, including insurance and internal controls
* Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and reporting to improve efficiency and data quality
* Lead teams and projects, partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic and member-focused outcomes
Profile
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, CIMA) with strong experience in finance, budgeting, forecasting, and tax compliance
* Skilled in ERP/financial systems, reporting, analysis, and presenting to senior leadership
* Experienced in facilities, procurement, contract management, and workplace compliance
* Proven leader, highly organised, collaborative, and adaptable to changing priorities
* 2-month contract with the potential for extension/permanent
* Based in St Leonards / North Sydney area
* Office-based role with occasional flexibility to work from home
