About the Role
As a Trainee Signal Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of Victoria's transport network.
Working under supervision, you will perform maintenance and installation tasks with precision and care, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday on a day shift, with the opportunity to progress to a 7/7 rotating roster pattern once qualified.
During the traineeship, you will be required to attend our training department for a full week every four weeks, where you will develop the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.
When not at the training department, you will be based at a depot working alongside qualified technicians who will provide guidance and support as you complete routine maintenance, major faults, and other tasks.
